The Foster Care Gap Is Real. We're Here to Close It.

Every year, thousands of young adults age out of the foster care system with no family safety net, no stable housing, and limited support. The outcomes are staggering. IMPACT House exists to change that story.

About IMPACT House

A Home. A Mentor.
A Future.

IMPACT House is a transitional housing and mentorship program for young adults ages 18 to 24 who were formerly in foster care. We offer a safe, furnished residence combined with one-on-one mentorship, life skills training, and career development support.

Residents typically stay for 12 to 24 months. During that time, each person works with a dedicated mentor to set personal goals, develop job-ready skills, manage finances, navigate healthcare and legal systems, and build the social connections that make independent living possible.

IMPACT House doesn't just provide a roof. We walk alongside each resident until they are genuinely ready to step into independent adult life with confidence. We provide a safe place for young adults to dream about their future.

Our Programs

What We
Provide.

Every resident of IMPACT House is provided with a furnished room, complete with linens, blankets, towels, dinnerware, and cookware. Upon successful completion of the program, they will get to take the amenites with them to their next place. They are also building a rental history with us that can be used to secure their next place. We also set aside a portion of their rent in our resident savings program, so that these young adults will have the necessary down payment to secure their own place. In addition, residents receive a comprehensive set of supports designed to build lasting independence, not just temporary stability.

Safe Housing

Furnished private rooms in a supervised, supportive residence. Residents have access to shared common spaces, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, and consistent utilities, including internet.

One-on-One Mentorship

Each resident is matched with a trained, background-checked mentor who meets with them regularly. Mentors provide accountability, guidance, and genuine relationship over the course of the program.

Life Skills Training

Monthly workshops on financial literacy, budgeting, cooking, healthcare navigation, renter rights, conflict resolution, and other skills essential for sustainable independent living.

Career Support

Resume help, interview preparation, job placement assistance, and connections to vocational training and higher education resources. We help residents build a career, not just a job.
